To gain healthcare experience Aubrey volunteered in local retirement facilities, including the establishment where her own grandparents resided. Being involved in the healthcare of her family members strengthened her drive to become an advocate and provider for others. She went on to gain her patient care and medical technician certificates and continued to work in this field for 4 years as she completed her undergraduate degree. Aubrey graduated from Albright College in 2016 with her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, receiving honors recognition and the Biology award.

To seek escape from the cold weather Aubrey chose to pursue her next level of education in sunny Florida.
